Interaction Problems in Madytos 1st Millennium BC Gray Wares: Phrygian Relations

چکیده

Madytos kazılarında ele geçen MÖ 1. binyıl gri seramik topluluğu, Orta ve Geç Tunç Çağı öncüleri yanında farklı çağdaş kültürlerin metal işçiliğinden beslenen kuzeybatı Anadolu seramikleriyle benzerlikler taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma bu bağlamda Frigya kap ilişkili olan buluntusu seramiklerin kronolojik etkileşimsel yapısına dair bazı sorunları ortaya koymayı amaçlar. Çalışmada alınan örnekler, seramiği ile kapları arasındaki etkileşimin en geç 9.?/8. yüzyıla kadar geriye gittiği 6. yüzyılda devam ettiğini gösterir. Gri seramikte Madytos-Frigya ilişkilerinin karakteri; kuzeyden üst üste gelip Madytos’tan Balkan Aiol göçleri, daha sonra kurulacak Frig Krallığı’nın kuzey-doğu Ege etkileşim ağının biçim süslemelerine nüfuzu Hellespontos İyon kolonizasyonu gibi her biri kendi içinde birbirileri arasında girift barındırır. Madytos’ta bağlantılı seramikler, kıyı bölgeler adalarla izole bir sistem olmadığını, görülen unsurlarının varlığından da anlaşıldığı üzere iç kesimleri de kapsadığını göstermektedir.
